Happy Mooncake Festival in advance! Yesterday, at Asian Civilisations Museum, I did an unprecedented act – I read out another author’s book! I shared with 15 preschoolers about DingLi Stevens’ Happy Mooncake Festival, Elena!
As I have 8 children’s picture books, I have a responsibility to the publishers to promote these books during my talks. However, I was asked by ACM for a mid-autumn festival tale, and the perfect book came to mind.
Happy Mooncake Festival, Elena! holds fond memories for me as I was its editor. I really enjoyed working with DingLi, who is every editor’s dream writer – accommodating to changes and speedy in response to queries.
After my Book Launch this Sunday at AFCC, I plan to kick back with a mooncake and a cup of pu ‘er!

Say hullo before you go :)
