Eight years of contributing to Women’s Personal Work-life Effectiveness in Singapore! WEWAM celebrated its eighth anniversary last week.
When WEWAM President, Ean Yeo, fell very ill in 2015, we thought WEWAM could not continue. However, with her determination and our volunteers’ support, we have since launched 3 new programmes and hosted a forum with President Halimah as our GOH last year. We also thank the Ministry of Social and Family Development for believing and funding our workshops since 2011.
Ean has been taking Gerontology studies. With her foresight and passion for the community, I trust her to take WEWAM to the next lap. As usual, I will just hang on for the ride! Exciting times are ahead.
