Made it to the Epigram Longlist!

Honoured to make it onto the Epigram Books Fiction Prize longlist. Apparently, 50 authors submitted their manuscripts and mine was one of ten that made it onto the longlist. Of course I wish very much to be on the shortlist.
I feel honoured and grateful for this affirmation from God and man.

Update: 24 Nov 2016

Was not shortlisted for the Prize, but Edmund Wee, Epigram’s publisher and CEO was very gracious. He said he would consider publishing the longlisted stories too. So exciting!
At the award ceremony dinner, I managed to take photos with magician and author Ning Cai (left) and the award winner Nuraliah Norasid (right), who wrote The Gatekeeper, a novel about a young girl with Medusa-like powers (!) .
